• Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of corporate and high-net-worth private clients, delivering compliance and strategic tax advisory services
• Provide technical oversight and review of complex tax returns, planning projects, and HMRC correspondence
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, offering commercial, practical solutions with clarity and confidence
• Oversee and mentor a team of junior and mid-level tax staff, providing support with workflow, development, and technical queries
• Collaborate closely with partners and directors on business development, tax risk management, and client relationship growth
• Contribute to the broader strategic direction of the tax department, helping shape process improvements and service enhancements
• Ensure deadlines, compliance standards, and client expectations are consistently exceeded

• CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified, with extensive post-qualification experience in tax within a UK accountancy practice
• Proven track record managing a portfolio of private and corporate tax clients
• Strong technical expertise in personal and corporate tax compliance and planning
• Effective team leader with experience mentoring and supporting junior staff
• Confident communicator with excellent client relationship management skills
• Commercially minded with an eye for identifying opportunities and improving service delivery

• £75,000 to £90,000 per annum
