Are you a client-focused financial services professional looking to take the next step in your career?  A boutique investment management group with specialist wealth planning businesses, renowned for delivering bespoke advice and exceptional service to a high-net-worth client base, is looking for a Client Services Manager to join their growing team.

In this pivotal role, you will often be the first point of contact for clients, playing a central role in shaping their experience and building trusted, long-term relationships. You will also provide key support in the delivery of holistic financial planning services across a range of areas including tax, investments, retirement, and estate planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, maintaining strong, proactive relationships
  • Support financial planners across all areas of advice, including tax, investment, retirement, and estate planning
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings, producing accurate notes and follow-up documentation
  • Coordinate the preparation of suitability reports with outsourced providers
  • Conduct regular client portfolio reviews and ensure timely updates based on changing priorities
  • Ensure the seamless implementation of recommendations with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial planning tools, platforms, and regulatory developments
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the group to ensure a cohesive client service approach

About You: 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a paraplanning, client services, or similar financial planning role
  • Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) is essential
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial planning tools (e.g., FE Analytics, Selectapension, CashCalc, AJ Bell, Aegon)
  • Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A client-centric approach with a commitment to delivering first-class service
  • Chartered or part-chartered status would be advantageous
