Our client is looking for a talented Paraplanner to join their team based in Birmingham, to help provide quality and accurate administrative and research support for both clients and advisers. Our client offers hybrid working from their Birmingham office, with a competitive salary on offer.

Key Responsibilities:

- To support Advisers and their clients in all parts of the financial advice process.

- To build and maintain quality professional and courteous relationships with Clients, supporting the Advisers in providing a quality ongoing client service.

- To be a point of reference and knowledge for the Support team, assisting in training and development where necessary.

- To build and develop relevant product and market awareness and ensure that all relevant legislative & procedural changes are complied with.

- To highlight any areas of business risk within the team to your line manager.

- To maintain and implement their own personal development plan with Line Manager, focussing on the acquisition of relevant knowledge and experience in the role and the industry, and acquisition of Level 4 diploma as a minimum standard.

- To support the Practice Director and team in the development and delivery of new processes and documentation.

- To participate in any other projects as requested.

Essential Qualities:

- Fully Diploma qualified- Good understanding of the Financial Planning process.- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal communication.- Customer service skills - providing an excellent service to the adviser and client.- Excellent planning and organisational skills.- Ability to work effectively to deadlines.- Accuracy and attention to detail to balance demands of role.

Desirable:

- An understanding of cashflow modelling.- Broad knowledge of the Financial Services Industry and high level of technical knowledge.- In depth knowledge and experience with cashflow modelling.- Ability to manage and complete projects.
