QA Technician – Food Manufacturing

If you’re the kind of person who gets a kick out of spotting problems before anyone else sees them and knowing your actions keep real products on supermarket shelves, you’ll want to read this.

This isn’t just ticking boxes on a clipboard. It’s about protecting quality, preventing waste, and keeping production running smoothly when things get hectic. The difference you make will be visible: fewer complaints, better consistency, and a factory team that actually values what a QA does.

What you’ll actually do:
You’ll be hands-on in a fast-moving food environment: testing, checking, and challenging. You’ll make sure standards stay where they should be and fix issues before they snowball.
One minute you’ll be running shelf-life or micro tests, the next you’ll be on the line helping production sort out a quality hiccup. When you raise a point, people listen because you’ll have the data to back it up.

Who it suits
Someone who’s worked in food QA or technical before, understands HACCP and GMP, and likes being in the thick of it not sat in an office writing reports no one reads. You’ll need Level 3 Food Hygiene and a calm head when production gets noisy.

What’s in it for you:

You’ll see the impact of your work every day safer products, smoother shifts, fewer headaches. You’ll get to work with a team that values doing things properly, not just quickly. And you’ll have the freedom to spot issues, fix them, and actually be heard.
