Key Accountabilities

  • Take a proactive approach to your personal and work commitments by achieving deadlines agreed upon with your Line Manager. Manage your workload in an effective and diligent. manner, reporting all conflicts in deadlines and activities to your Line Manager in a timely
  • Take responsibility for the deadlines set by both you and your Line Manager and demonstrate commitment to seeing work and deadlines achieved on time and in full.
  • Prepare detailed 3D models, design drawings, plans, and specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and CDM regulations.
  • Prepare Production Issue Packs (CAM, Panel drawings, Hot Rolled fabrication drawings, Reports, and Marking plans) for the Customer Service Team using file data transfer Apps.
  • Keep the customer and other involved parties in all decision-making where a risk or action may be required by Kingspan SBS or other parties.
  • Ensure that adequate records are kept of all communications with external companies in accordance with company protocol.
  • Maintain an awareness of all technical and product evolution issues, to assist the Line Manager in the task of ensuring the company can respond to technological advancements.
  • Maintaining the satisfaction of existing clients and developing new skills and services in accordance with the company's business needs. Develop customer relations and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Keep your line manager informed of changing situations and progress in achieving tasks and respond promptly to requests for information both internally and externally whilst keeping project records up to date (DDS, RFI, Planner).
  • Work with the Line Manager to develop a culture that addresses the root cause analysis of non-conformances for Continuous improvement.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Collaborate with clients and design team members to understand project requirements and goals.
  • Develop detailed design plans, sketches, drawings, or prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software and tools using 2D and 3D CAD (AutoCAD, Tekla Structures), and the ability to handle data appropriate to your role.
  • Project management skills, maintain communication with clients to update them on project progress, gather feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other team members to create accurate 3D models for call-offs.
