Role Overview

A growing training provider is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead the development of successful bids for AEB, Skills Bootcamps, and other government-funded training contracts. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in securing funding within the employability and skills sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to submission.

  • Write high-quality, compliant bids that align with funding requirements and internal delivery capabilities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (delivery, finance, operations) to gather content and costings.

  • Develop clear bid strategies, win themes, and compelling value propositions.

  • Track upcoming opportunities and maintain a strong bid pipeline.

  • Ensure all submissions meet quality, compliance, and impact standards.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrable success in winning AEB, Skills Bootcamp, and other funded training bids.

  • Strong knowledge of the UK government funding landscape for training and employability.

  • Excellent bid writing and project management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.

Desirable
  • Familiarity with subcontracting models and ESFA/DfE compliance.

  • Experience forming partnerships for collaborative bids.
