Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Do you have a passion for financial compliance and crime prevention? Are you excited about making a real difference in a dynamic environment? We are currently looking for a Deputy MLRO to join our busy team in Birmingham.

As a Deputy MLRO, you will play a critical role in second line transaction monitoring and investigation, ensuring all transactions are correctly reviewed in line with our policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include conducting AML dashboard analysis, liaising with our Dhaka team, and reporting suspicious transactions via SARs. You will manage fraud documentation, oversee the complaints process, safeguard client funds, and prepare regulatory reports for the FCA. This position offers a fantastic chance to enhance your expertise while contributing to our compliance and risk management initiatives!

Hours of Work: Full time, Office-based work

Deputy MLRO will report to the Head of Financial Crime Compline & MLRO

Deputy MLRO Requirements:

  1. Relevant AML/CFT qualifications are advantageous.
  2. A thorough understanding of FCA regulations and financial crime guidelines.
  3. Minimum of 5 years experience in a Compliance department within an Authorised Payment Institution is preferred.
  4. Strong analytical skills, creativity in problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
