Location: Mobile role covering Birmingham and surrounding areas

A well-established fire and security company is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their team. This is a mobile position ideal for a skilled engineer confident in installwork across a variety of systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installfire alarm, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems

  • Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and accurately

  • Work to industry standards and company procedures

  • Deliver excellent customer service on-site and over the phone

  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience working on fire and/or security systems

  • Good understanding of installation and commissioning practices

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable:

  • Experience with smoke ventilation systems

  • Familiarity with leading brands such as Texecom, Galaxy, Hikvision, and Paxton

  • Relevant industry certifications (ECS, FIA, IPAF, or similar)
