I'm currently supporting a major investment bank that's looking to onboard an experienced Java Developer for a long-term contract based out of their Birmingham office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a globally recognised financial institution.
Role Highlights:
- £500/day via umbrella
- 5 days onsite (standard for this client)
- Location: Birmingham
Key Skills Required:
- 4+ years of Java Development (Java 11+)
- Strong Spring Framework experience
- Microservices architecture
- Kafka or equivalent messaging tools
- MongoDB or equivalent
- Strong grasp of SDLC
- Banking/Financial Services experience is a must have
Nice to Have:
- GitLab (or experience with similar tools)
- Exposure to automation frameworks (JUnit, Mocking, Gherkin)
