Lead Frontend React Developer, Home Based, £ 65000 - 70000 + benefits.
Market leading software product company is looking for a Lead React Developer who will play a key role in their technology modernisation programme as they move from Angular to React. You will be helping deliver the project replacing the old AngularJS system with React and modernising the UI.
To be considered for this role you will be a React guru and will have previously worked as a Lead Developer. If you have helped move to React from Angular that would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Role and Responsibilities -
* Drive the change as the company moves from Angular to React.
* Implement React across the Tribe.
* Use your strong, hands-on React development skills on a daily basis.
* Help mentor and develop the junior members of the team.
* Upskill the team as appropriate.
To be considered you will have -
* Excellent and proven React skills and knowledge.
* Previously worked as a Lead Engineer.
* Strong technical skills including - Typescript/Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind
* REST API integration
* Experience with popular state management libraries like Redux, React Context or Zustand
* The ability to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- The ability to build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Micro-frontends
- Angular JS - Nice to have
- Jest / Cypress
- Storybook - Nice to have
This is an excellent role for a Lead React Developer who wants to make a real difference. There is no people management but there is technical leadership.
The role is home based with one day a month at their office in Nottingham. Salary is most likely to be in the range £ 65000 - 70000 + benefits. Interviews soon so please send your CV for further information.Â
