Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who has experience in working with young people with autism and SEMH needs from KS2 up to GCSE level and beyond.

The school has multiple sites supporting a variety of ages and abilities. This role is for their Erdington site and is to start from September on a full-time basis.

You should have experience of assisting young people in a classroom environment as well as be able to implement agreed behaviour management strategies consistently and effectively. A good standard of education including Math and English GCSE at C (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent are essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting students in both group and 1:1 settings

Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation

Delivering targeted interventions and differentiated learning activities

Promoting inclusion and encouraging independence
