We are looking for an experienced Pub Manager
Responsible for the daily operations, management, and success of a pub / bar and oversee staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain the pub's profitability. Key duties include managing staff, ensuring smooth operations, and adhering to regulations like licensing and health & safety.
Key Responsibilities of a Pub Manager:
Staff Management:
- Recruiting, training, scheduling, and managing staff, including bartenders, servers, and other personnel.
Customer Service:
- Ensuring a positive customer experience, addressing complaints, and maintaining high standards of service.
Operational Management:
- Overseeing daily operations, including food and beverage preparation, stock management, and maintaining the pub's cleanliness and safety.
Financial Management:
- Managing budgets, increasing profits, and controlling cash flow.
- Legal Compliance:
- Understanding and adhering to licensing regulations, health and safety rules, and other legal requirements.
Marketing and Sales:
- Promoting the pub and its offerings to attract and retain customers.
- Problem Solving:
- Addressing customer issues, managing conflicts, and finding solutions to operational challenges.
- Leadership:
- Inspiring and motivating staff, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment.

- Leadership and Management Skills:
- Effective communication, motivation, and delegation are crucial for managing a team.
- Customer Service Skills:
- Ability to interact with customers, address their needs, and handle complaints professionally.
Business Acumen:

Hospitality Experience:
At least 3/ 4 years prior experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in bars or pubs, is highly valued.
