We're working with an exciting, fast-growing studio building a live sports platform that lets viewers race against real competitors within the broadcast.
Your inputs at home appear as a ghost vehicle in the live feed, driven through Unreal Engine environments powered by real-time telemetry.
Owing to the award of multi-year contracts with high-profile sports and racing bodies, such as F1 and Formula E, and the soon-to-be-announced major series A funding round, they're looking to hire a Senior Unreal Engine / C++ Engineer to help shape the next stage of the platform.
As a Senior Unreal Engine / C++ Engineer, you’ll work across AR broadcast, VR environments and simulator systems. The role is hands-on, building core modules, improving performance on consumer hardware and guiding the wider team’s approach. You’ll work directly with the CEO, with real input on both foundations and final output.
What you’ll work on
- Core development in Unreal Engine using C++ and Blueprints
- Plugins, modular systems and asset integration
- Physics for realistic vehicle behaviour
- Live telemetry integration and environment updates
What you bring
- Strong Unreal Engine experience (UE4/UE5)
- Advanced C++ for real-time visual work
- Plugin development
- Perforce experience
- Blueprint prototyping
- AR/VR/XR development and GPU performance tuning
