We're looking for an inspirational and strategic leader to take on the role of Head of Education, Inclusion & Vulnerable Learners.
Reporting directly to the Director of Children's Services, you'll lead on delivering our vision for education, learning, inclusion, youth provision and SEND. This is more than a job - it's a chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of children, young people, and families across the borough.
Key responsbilities:
Champion education and inclusion, driving improvements in attainment and outcomes for all learners, particularly our most vulnerable.
Lead and deliver innovative services for:
SEND and vulnerable learners
School improvement and organisation
Family Solutions, Early Help, and Children's Centres
Youth Services and Youth Offending
Provide expert advice and challenge to schools and early years settings to ensure excellence.
Oversee the strategic development and implementation of Dudley's SEND Strategy and Inclusion priorities.
Work in partnership across health, education and social care to deliver integrated, community-focused services.
Skills and Knowledge required:
You are a bold, visionary leader with:
A proven track record in education leadership, SEND, inclusion or children's services.
Experience of strategic planning, service transformation and stakeholder collaboration.
Deep knowledge of statutory responsibilities and a passion for equity in education.
The ability to influence and inspire teams, partners, and communities.
