Smart Education is currently recruiting for Day-to-Day Teachers to work across a range of SEN schools and mainstream settings in the Birmingham area.
This is an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for flexible work that fits around other commitments, those seeking experience in a variety of schools, or teachers who want to build confidence and networks before committing to a long-term role.
You will have the chance to teach pupils with a variety of needs, including MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), and Autism (ASC), as well as working in mainstream classrooms.

Job requirements:• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with SEN pupils is desirable but not essential
• Strong classroom management skills and adaptability
• A valid Child or Child/Adult DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to process one)
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to different schools

Role responsibilities:• Delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEN
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
• Liaising with school staff to ensure smooth daily transitions
• Being reliable and available for short-notice bookings
