Team Leader Residential Childrens Home
Salary:Up to £34,160pa salary inclusive of sleep-ins
Hours:40 hours per week plus additional seep-ins

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in providing care and creating positive experiences for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD) or Learning Disabilities. Youll be joining a dedicated team that aims to provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people, helping them achieve independence and positive outcomes.

What Were Looking For:

  • Qualifications:Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is required
  • Experience:At least 18 months of experience in a residential setting as a support worker or similar role
  • Driving Licence:A full UK driving licence is essential
  • Skills:Strong leadership skills, good communication, and basic computer skills
  • Attributes:Flexible, hardworking, kind, and compassionate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, acting as a positive role model for your team
  • Oversee daily shift planning, handovers, and ensure compliance with care regulations
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to staff, ensuring they are motivated and supported
  • Develop strong relationships with the children, ensuring their individual needs are met and that they are safeguarded at all times
  • Complete paperwork, administer medication where necessary, and support the children's development
