Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture, maintain, and repair tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Inspect and test completed tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in all tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Toolmaker, ideally within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment with both Single Op and Progression tooling.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, including milling, grinding, turning, and EDM.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Skilled in using hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus, but not essential.
