  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in commissioning thermal power plants, EFW, or similar, and hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  • Experience in coordinating commissioning systems and managing the operation of systems for plant start-up and shut-down is essential.
  • The position is located in the West Midlands, offers a day rate outside IR35, and is expected to last for a minimum of 12 months starting in September/October 2025.



Key skills required for the System Coordinator / Deputy Commissioning Manager

  • Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, the candidate will be responsible for coordinate and collaboration with other disciplines, such as electrical, I&C, operations, mechanicals, etc.
  • Coordinating with the site LOTO responsible Senior Authorized Person.
  • Permit to work request and the legal certifications knowledge to achieve the MEC reports & readiness reports.
  • Review and monitor the subcontracts commissioning activities, review and approve the commissioning procedures.
  • Must be a Mechanical or Electrical engineer with at least 5 years of experience in the commissioning of thermal power plants, EFW or similar.
  • Must have experience as being responsible for coordinating commissioning systems, coordinating operation of systems to start-up / shut down plants.
