Your new companyHays is working with a leading independent UK multidisciplinary consultancy that works in the property, infrastructure and construction industry. They have over 150 years of experience supporting and delivering on small to large-scale projects with values from £250,000 - £1bn.Your new roleYou will be a health and safety consultant working individually or alongside a senior/associate director on projects within the commercial, healthcare, education, and defence sectors, amongst others. You will be part of one of the largest health and safety teams and play a key part in delivering on major projects.Your core duties will include:* Attend project and design meetings* Attend site meetings* Complete site appraisals and risk identification* Review of existing project and client information* Provide written reports to the client and team* Complete site inspections* Complete auditsWhat you'll need to succeed

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015
  • Practical experience in managing or providing dedicated CDM / H&S advisor services/role
  • Experience in either construction site safety or design (Architecture, Engineering, Surveying etc.)
  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety preferred (or equivalent)
