ABC Teachers is looking for a passionate and reliable 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join a SEN School in Birmingham.
Role Overview:
- Responsibilities: Providing excellent personalized support to a pupil with special educational needs, and to help develop in different areas, academic, social, and emotional development.

- Tasks: Offering one-on-one care, assisting in academic tasks, social interactions, and behaviour management as and when required. The successful candidate will ensure every pupil feels valued and supported.
- Transitions: Assisting students during transitions between different routines during the school day whilst maintaining a positive and comfortable experience.

Requirements
As a suitable 1-1 Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce.
- Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
- Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a suitable qualification for working with children and experience working with special education needs.
