We are looking for a dedicated EAL Teaching Assistant to join our team at a welcoming and inclusive school in Kings Heath, South Birmingham. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young people from diverse cultural backgrounds and can help students thrive in an English-speaking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support EAL students in the classroom to help them improve their English language skills.

Provide one-on-one and group support to students with a range of abilities, helping them integrate into their lessons.

Assist with the development of personalized learning strategies for EAL students.

Build trusting relationships with students, encouraging their confidence in speaking and understanding English.

Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt resources and materials to support EAL learners.

Who We're Looking For:

Previous experience supporting EAL learners in an educational setting is desirable.

Ability to speak one or more of the following languages: Polish, Bulgarian, or Romanian (preferred but not required).

A friendly, patient, and approachable attitude, with a passion for helping students from diverse backgrounds.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
