EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Bordesley Green, B9 Birmingham
Pay Rate: (Apply online only)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Are you experienced in supporting young children in a nursery or Reception setting? We're looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years team in a warm, welcoming primary school.

This full-time role offers the chance to make a real difference during the most important stage of a child's development. Whether you're in Nursery or Reception, you'll play a key part in helping children feel safe, happy, and ready to learn through play-based activities and daily routines.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the class teacher with group activities and classroom routines.
  • Helping children with phonics, early numeracy, and social skills.
  • Providing one-to-one support where needed to aid development.
  • Supporting with toileting, transitions, and behaviour management.
  • Encouraging a fun, caring, and structured environment for learning.

Who We're Looking For Someone That:

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Has hands-on experience supporting children in a Nursery or Reception setting.
  • Understands the Early Years Foundation Stage and learning through play.
  • Is calm, patient, and full of positive energy.
  • Works well in a team and can use their initiative.
