Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity this September? A welcoming and well-resourced primary school is seeking a confident and caring TA to support a Key Stage 1 class on a long-term basis.
You'll be working closely with the class teacher to support learning across the curriculum, helping children reach their potential both academically and emotionally.
In this role, you'll be:
- Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Working with small groups and individuals to reinforce learning
- Helping to deliver phonics, early maths, and literacy interventions
- Assisting with assessments and tracking pupil progress
- Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting emotional wellbeing
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Has recent experience in a KS1 classroom
- Is proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently or in a team
- Understands the needs of young learners and how to support them effectively
- Has excellent communication skills and a nurturing approach
