About the School:

The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team in January 2025. As a key member of the classroom, you will support students with their learning, working alongside teachers to implement effective strategies to meet the individual needs of pupils. You will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities, ensuring all students are engaged and supported.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with varying needs, both inside and outside the classroom.
Help to assess and track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
Assist in preparing classroom resources and displays.
Promote positive behaviour and a safe learning environment.
Support children with special educational needs (SEN), under the guidance of the SENCO.
Key Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with children in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative.
A passion for helping children reach their full potential.
Knowledge of safeguarding practices and child protection policies.
Previous experience with SEN would be an advantage, but not essential.
