What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, learning difficulties, and communication challenges.
  • Help implement and follow EHCP targets, adapting classroom tasks to meet each child's needs.
  • Support pupils in managing sensory and emotional regulation activities.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and active participation in learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure consistency of care and track pupil progress.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for every child.

About You:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND or complex needs.
  • Calm, patient, and empathetic approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable working with pupils with autism, physical needs, or communication barriers.
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential.
