Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with complex needs? We're looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary school resource base in the B8 area.

This long-term role offers the chance to work with pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and learning challenges. If you're calm, caring, and confident in supporting SEND children, this could be the perfect role for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with complex SEND needs
  • Help implement EHCP targets in a structured and nurturing environment
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure pupil progress
  • Use visuals, routines and sensory strategies to support learning
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families

  • Experience supporting SEND children, ideally in a primary or specialist setting
  • Understanding of autism, communication difficulties and sensory needs
  • A proactive, patient, and compassionate approach to support
  • Team player with a genuine passion for inclusive education
