Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a primary school setting? Aspire People is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the B17 area of Birmingham.
About the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning and development across the primary age range. The role may involve working one-to-one with pupils, supporting small groups, or assisting within the classroom environment to create a positive and engaging learning experience.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons
Working with individual or small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
Assisting with the preparation of resources and classroom displays
Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment
Supporting pupils with additional needs, where required
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate)
Be patient, adaptable, and confident in supporting young learners
Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
Hold (or be willing to apply for) a valid DBS on the update service
