- We are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 student diagnosed with ASD on a 1:1 basis.
- The ideal candidate should possess a Level 2+ Teaching Assistant Qualification and have recent primary school experience within the last 3 years.
- This role requires a caring individual who can build strong relationships and manage sensory resources for the child, who will need regular breaks.
- The position offers a salary of £100 after working 10 days, along with additional bonuses for referrals and flexible work opportunities.
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and clear Enhanced Child Workforce checks, with at least 2 references covering a minimum of 2 years.
This role will include support within and outside of the classroom for a child who has recently been diagnosed with ASD.
The suitable candidate will have a caring, supportive nature and the ability to quickly build strong relationships with pupils.
This child utilises sensory resources, and requires regular breaks.
Previous experience within Key Stage 2 is preferred but not essential.
Skills and experience required for our teaching assistant jobs:
* Level 2+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferable)
* An enthusiastic, well-motivated and talented classroom practitioner
* Excellent working knowledge of the Primary curriculum
* Recent primary school experience within the last 3 years
* Right to Work in the UK
* Clear Enhanced Child Workforce on the Update Service (if you do not have this, we will
require you to apply for a new DBS)
* Able to provide at least 2 references to cover a minimum of 2 years
* Strong EYFS and SEND knowledge
