We’re hiring for impact.

A market-leading business is on the hunt for a Senior Manager - Talent Management & Capability to drive bold, business-critical transformation across its people agenda. This is a senior leadership role—operating at the intersection of strategy, performance, and cultural growth. It requires resilience, pace, and a mindset wired for delivery.

You’ll be the architect of a future-fit organisation—leading the strategy behind how talent is discovered, developed, and embedded into the leadership fabric of the business. This role isn’t just about frameworks—it’s about outcomes. You’ll need the ability to influence at every level and the drive to see initiatives through from design to sustained execution.

This role is for someone who:

Leads with clarity and conviction, even in complexity

Thrives on creating momentum, not just managing process

Owns results, not just plans

Champions inclusion, ambition, and excellence across the organisation

Key Impact Areas:

Shaping Future-Ready Talent - Define how talent is identified in the organisation, and advances exceptional talent across all levels, ensuring depth and agility where it matters most

Defining What Talent Means - Creating clarity for the organisation on the definition of talent and shaping the succession plan

Accelerating Leadership Growth - Create high-impact, future-focused development pathways that unlock leadership potential and shift the dial on capability

Leadership Development - Creating exceptional talent development initiatives for leadership both for teams and individuals

Coaching and Mentors - responsible for creating measurable coaching and mentor schemes in the organisation

Building Organisational Resilience - Establish proactive approaches to succession and continuity that secure business-critical roles and future-proof leadership capacity

Translating Strategy into Workforce Action - Align people plans with commercial ambitions, turning long-term strategy into an executable, talent-driven roadmap

Redefining Performance - Drive a culture where accountability and ambition meet—shaping how performance is framed, measured, and realised across the business

Fuelling Connection and Commitment - Lead on shaping a workplace culture where people thrive, contribute meaningfully, and choose to stay

Championing Inclusive Leadership - Make equity and representation a core part of the leadership DNA—not just a principle, but a practice

What You’ll Bring:

Degree educated alongside L7 / Masters in an HR subject

Coaching qualifications

Impressive career trajectory in senior-level roles across Talent management, succession strategies, OD, or broader People transformation - ideally within complex, evolving, or multi-site environments

A demonstrable track record of leading large-scale, end-to-end talent and capability initiatives with measurable outcomes

Strong organisational savvy - you know how to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and make things happen without formal authority

Commercial sharpness - you think beyond HR; you understand how to connect people strategy with business performance, productivity, and growth

High personal accountability - you take ownership, move at pace, and drive momentum without waiting for permission

A data-driven mindset - you use insight and evidence to influence, prioritise and shape strategy

Executive presence and gravitas - you know how to engage, influence and challenge senior leaders with confidence and credibility

Outstanding communication skills - clear, concise, and compelling, whether facilitating in a room, writing strategy, or coaching one-on-one

A resilient and growth-oriented mindset - able to lead through ambiguity, manage complexity and adapt quickly to change

A passion for building inclusive cultures - you know that diverse perspectives are not a nice-to-have, but a leadership imperative

Strong coaching instincts - you elevate others, build trust quickly, and know how to unlock performance across teams and individuals

The ability to scale your thinking - you can zoom out to see the enterprise picture, then dive deep to ensure delivery and detail are executed brilliantly

A genuine desire to make a legacy-level impact - you’re not here to maintain, you’re here to elevate

This is a career-defining opportunity. You’ll report directly into the Group HR Director, work alongside senior leadership, and help steer a business undergoing ambitious, long-term change. You’ll have both visibility and accountability—and the autonomy to make your mark.

This is not a role for the comfortable. It’s for someone who wants to push limits, raise standards, and lead with impact.
