We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring that our organisation runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of HR processes. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for managing employee data entry, administrative tasks, and assisting with recruitment processes. This is a Fixed Term contract initially however it will be a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Support the recruitment process by coordinating job postings and managing applicant tracking systems.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry and document management.
  • Communicate effectively with employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and assist in workforce planning.
  • Participate in employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.

The ideal candidate will have been in a similar position for at least 5 years and ideally be qualified CIPD level 3 to 5. Your will have previously worked in a Logistics, Automotive or Manufacturing background. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective interaction with employees at all levels. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
