What will you do as HR Officer?

  • Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Managing all HR functions including contracts, onboarding, and employee records
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
  • Assisting with payroll, ensuring accuracy in employee data, tracking absences and leave
  • Supporting HR audits and projects, including reporting and data management
  • Partnering with leadership to align HR strategy with business goals
  • Contributing to workforce planning, organisational design, and succession planning
  • Identifying and implementing HR initiatives that improve culture and employee engagement
  • Monitoring HR metrics and advising on improvements

What do you need as a HR Officer?

  • CIPD Level 5 (minimum)
  • Proven experience in an HR generalist role, ideally within an SME or scale-up environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline processes and drive efficiency
  • Confident communicator with experience supporting staff at all levels
