I’m keen to speak with individuals who are confident communicators, capable of collaborating with stakeholders across IT and the wider business. You'll play a vital role in coordinating changes across internal teams and third-party partners, helping to ensure the stability and scalability of our client’s IT environment.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of technical changes (e.g. software upgrades, infrastructure changes, cloud integrations, release deployments)
- Collaborate closely with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to ensure smooth and timely change delivery
- Evaluate change impact and risk, producing clear plans that outline testing requirements, environment dependencies, and timelines
- Maintain a forward view of planned technical changes and ensure alignment with the overall IT strategy and business priorities
- Support the IT and Business Project Managers during test, transition and release phases
- Work closely with the Release & Transition Manager to schedule and manage technical changes and deployments
- Provide oversight and assurance to ensure all release artefacts (e.g., release notes, test results, change logs) are captured and validated
Experience required:
- Strong experience in a Technical Change Management role, ideally within a mid-large scale IT function
- Solid understanding of infrastructure, application, and cloud-based technology landscapes (Azure preferred)
- Demonstrable experience planning and delivering technical change within an ITIL-aligned or structured change/release environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging across both technical and non-technical teams
