We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Application Support Engineer to support our clients. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding ability to troubleshoot system problems, root cause analysis and provide insight in system improvements and can deliver solutions based on their findings.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure Incident SLAs are met by the support team by prioritisation of own (and teams) workload according to incident priority and SLAs.
  • Handle complex and difficult incidents that are passed on from the support team.
  • Handling urgent priority tickets and come up with solutions to resolve the incidents and handle P1 incident resolution communications with stakeholders
  • Mentoring/training and reviewing solutions to incidents/RCA work done by other support team members,
  • To stand-in on behalf of Support team lead to represent support team in Service Transition, CAB meetings etc.,
  • Produce problem identification, RCA and Remediation/Solution options documents and work closely with the Development team.
  • Develop solutions on a backlog of prioritised problems/defects
  • Handle complex issues raised by the customer and liaising with end users and customers to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Bug fixing and minor enhancements and complex data fixes
  • Maintain accurate records of support queries and formulate recommendations to prevent future repeated issues
  • Review Alerting & Monitoring requirements from production perspective are addressed in every project and system under change

Relevant Technical Experience

  • Strong C# web background, NET, MVC, Razor, AJAX
  • HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Knockout, JQuery, Angular
  • Entity Framework, Temporal DB
  • WCF, web services, Microservices, Web APIs
  • SQL Server
    • Thorough understanding of SQL Server admin, SQL server performance tuning, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, SQL server agent, SSRS
  • MicrosoftCRM dynamics
    • To understand solutions, system jobs/processes/cloud flows, use xrmtoolkit and apps in it to investigate issues. JS scripts, .net plugin code used in the solutions, data import and export
    • Preferably Dynamics 365 admin training
  • Azure
    • Experience in developing/maintaining Logic apps, azure functions, key vault, storage containers, Kubernetes, appinsights, B2C user creation/login issues, azure monitoring, queues, topics
    • Azure 104/204 certified
  • Power BI
    • Experience in creating/maintaining reports from different data sources like OData Feed, SQL DB, Azure blob storage

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with highly skilled dev/support team in developing or maintaining critical business applications
  • Experience in and knowledge of C# .NET, associated technologies, tooling and development approaches
  • Technical IT experience in disciplines in support of a C# .NET development role
  • Knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering desireably .NET related technologies
  • Analytical Thinking: Good at acquiring an understanding of a problem or situation and developing an approach to interacting with the situation.
  • Stress Handling: Retaining objectivity and proper understanding of a problem or situation when placed under conditions of stress. Ability to be calm, and collected during technical problem solving
  • Applying standards: Good in application of relevant industry and process standards to all tasks undertaken.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and other team members
  • Experience with investigative root cause analysis and incident management
