SCClearancewillberequiredforthisrole. SeekinganexperiencedNetworkArchitectwithdeepexpertiseinlegacytechnologiesandastrongbackgroundinsecureenvironments. Circuitto packet experienceisessential. Thisrolewillbebasedonsitefor4daysperweek.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Design,implement,andsupportmediumto large-scale network solutions using legacy and modernnetworkingtechnologies.
• Collaboratewithserviceandprojectteamstounderstandbusinessandtechnical requirements.
• Producehigh-qualitydesigndocumentationandleaddesigngovernancereviews.
• Provide hands-on support for configuration, deployment, troubleshooting of network components.

SkillsandExperience:

• Strongknowledgeoflegacycircuit-switchednetworksandpoint-to-pointconnectivity.
• Hands-on experience with TDM multiplexers / demultiplexers, synchronization and QoS implementation.
• DeepunderstandingofSDH,WDM,ATM,FrameRelay,andcircuittopacketemulation(CTP).
• Provenabilitytoconfigureandmanagerouters,switches,andoldernetworkdevices.
• Familiaritywithsecuritymeasuresincludingencryption,authentication,andsecurerouting protocols.
• Skilledindiagnosingandresolvingcomplexnetworkissuesinhybridnetworkenvironments.
• PreviousexperienceworkingwithinorsupportingDefenceorNationalSecuritysectorsis highly desirable.
