We are looking for an experienced IT Project manager to join a reputable organisation based in the West Midlands. You'll oversee multiple concurrent projects each with varying size, complexity, budget, and duration. Most projects run on shorter lifespans, meaning adaptability and delivery speed are key.

This role suits someone who has delivered across:

  • Regulated environments
  • Cloud First IT journeys
  • Cross business transformation programmes
  • Technical infrastructure and business change PM
  • Vendor partnered delivery alongside architects and business partners

Key Responsibilities

Cloud-First & IT Transformation

  • Support and contribute to the group's cloud strategy and delivery (Azure/AWS/multi-platform exposure)
  • Lead and track migrations, cloud use-cases, adoption, and technical transformation projects

Project Portfolio Ownership

  • Manage multiple IT and business-aligned projects in parallel
  • Prioritise workstreams across 12 group business units
  • Scope and deliver projects to customer requirements, deadlines, and budgets
  • Manage change in scope rapidly and pragmatically
  • Remove delivery blockers and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams

C-Suite Stakeholder Management

  • Lead senior business and IT stakeholders in both formal governance and informal dynamic workshops
  • Run structured updates, and manage expectations with flexibility and confidence
  • Communicate progress across IT leadership, business partners, and delivery collaborators

PMO Development Contribution

  • Help shape the project lifecycle, frameworks, and PMO delivery standards
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and BA teams to translate business requirements into initiatives
  • Collaborate with solutions and infrastructure architects on delivery strategy

Team Leadership

  • Coordinate PMO analysts, BA's, business process partners, and solutions architects
  • Draft and guide internal budget proposals and resourcing decisions

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years managing IT projects in regulated or enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience at running multiple diverse IT/business change projects concurrently.
  • Comfortable operating with C-Suite in both formal governance and fast moving informal environments.
  • Thrives in shorter project cycles and evolving PMO environments.
  • Experience in requirements analysis, process alignment, and transformation scoping.
  • Clear, confident, proactive communicator who leads through solutions not slide decks alone.

Highly Desirable

  • Project Management Institute (PMP or CAPM)
  • Prince2 or equivalent
  • Background within Regulated IT programmes
  • Demonstrable Product Ownership mindset within IT project environments
