Senior Oracle Project Manager – Oracle Fusion – 6 Months initial – Hybrid (Midlands) – Outside IR35

VIQU have partnered with a leading enterprise organisation undergoing a complex Oracle Fusion implementation. As part of this journey, they are seeking a highly experiencedSenior Oracle Project Manager to work closely with their internal leadership and delivery teams to oversee transition planning, readiness and execution across finance and business functions.

The Role:The successful Senior Oracle Project Manager will work closely alongside the Head of Programmes to oversee the operational transition and ensure the effective rollout of Oracle Fusion across the business

This is not a standard PM role – the successful candidate will bring deep Oracle ERP programme experience, specifically in transition and cutover planning, and have the gravitas to drive detailed, hands-on delivery across technical and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transition planning and execution from programme to live operations, including cutover and go-live readiness.
  • Work directly with functional and technical teams to map out Oracle-specific processes including data migration, integrations, ESS jobs, and configuration readiness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, IT, HR and operations to validate plans and ensure cross-team alignment.
  • Build and manage detailed, time-sensitive transition plans that support phased Oracle Fusion delivery.
  • Identify and manage risks, gaps, and dependencies across business and technical streams.
  • Ensure alignment to business process changes and coordinate start-up of new operational processes.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Transition Manager / Senior Oracle Project Manager within large Oracle ERP or Oracle Fusion programmes (EBS or Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Finance modules and the ability to communicate across functional and technical disciplines.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering cutover planning, operational readiness and business process transition.
  • Experience working closely with developers, solution architects, and technical SMEs.
  • Skilled in building repeatable, low-risk execution plans.
  • Gravitas to direct teams while remaining hands-on with the detail.
  • Solid background in data migration – understanding how to work with detailed plans and ensuring successful execution.
  • Ability to manage post-go-live support, including monitoring, alerting, and license management.
  • Familiarity with the challenges of transitioning to a new ERP system and the ability to navigate these challenges successfully.

  • Job Role: Senior Oracle Project Manager
  • Contract: 12 months + (initial 6 months with view of extension)
  • Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite
  • Interview Process: 2 stages
  • Outside IR35 pending SDS report
