The opportunity:
We are partnering with an innovative, fast-growing, high-volume manufacturing company, that sells its advanced engineered products both directly and via a global distribution network. As part of their continued growth strategy, they are now looking to appoint a high-calibre and experienced Sales Director to join their senior leadership team.

Responsible for developing and implementing a strategy that continues to grow market share and profitability with an emphasis on expanding the international distribution channel.

Experience of identifying, selecting and managing national and international distribution channel partners is essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute global distribution strategy and revenue growth plans.
  • Onboard and manage distributor partners across international territories.
  • Build strong commercial relationships, ensuring delivery of sales performance and profitability.
  • Manage pricing, commercial negotiation and sales forecasting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, operations and product teams to support customer needs.
  • Represent the business at global trade shows and customer visits.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the experienced sales team.

The person:

  • Proven success in growing sales and profitability through distribution channel
  • Background in high-volume precision components is advantageous
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and strategic planning skills.
  • Comfortable with international travel.
  • US market experience highly beneficial.
