SHE Advisor

Working within a multidiscipline main contractor to promote and sustain a positive Safety, Health, Environmental (SHE) culture throughout the Water Division. Ensure the effective implementation of associated management strategies and SHE action plans that exceed client expectations while preventing incidents, injuries, work-related illnesses, damage to underground and overhead apparatus and domestic services, Safe Production (Temporary Works, PPVI) and driver behaviour to reduce at-fault traffic collisions.

Responsible for
Instilling and promoting a right-first-time approach, ensuring that when non-conformity is identified, corrective and preventative actions are taken to achieve continuous improvement.

Qualification and Experience
NEBOSH General, Construction or equivalent
Professional membership of Tech IOSH or equivalent with relevant CPD
Knowledge and experience in Streetworks, excavations, plant and pedestrian interfaces, and Construction Design Management.
Ability to use work management systems, Microsoft Office 365 applications, produce reports, analyse data, and implement action plans.
Experience of working to an externally verified management system including IS (phone number removed) along with Achilles, Safe Contractor etc.
