Salary: Up to £45,900 per annum (based on 40 hours)

About the Opportunity


We are currently representing a well-established national technical services provider, now part of a global group, with a strong reputation in commercial refrigeration and catering maintenance. With over four decades of industry presence and a UK-wide engineering workforce, they deliver essential services to clients across hospitality, healthcare, education, and retail sectors.
As they continue to expand and invest in regional operations, they are looking to appoint a Senior Refrigeration Engineer or Team Leader in the West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take the next step into leadership while remaining hands-on with technical work.



Role Overview


  • Carry out service, breakdown, and reactive maintenance of refrigeration systems across commercial and retail contracts

  • Lead and support a regional team of engineers, acting as a technical point of contact and ensuring high standards of service delivery

  • Troubleshoot complex faults, conduct site audits, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

  • Liaise directly with clients to ensure satisfaction and manage any escalations professionally

  • Equipment includes: cold rooms, bottle coolers, refrigerated cabinets, under-counter units, blast chillers, and CO? packs


Key Requirements


  • F-Gas certified

  • Proven experience with commercial refrigeration systems (supermarket experience advantageous)

  • Exposure to or experience with CO2 systems

  • NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred but not essential)

  • Full UK Driving Licence
