Description
The National delivery operation manager will
- Oversee the nationwide delivery operations ensuring efficient across 50+ locations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments (fleet, HR, Sales, Customer service) to ensure streamlined operations
- Manage and mentor the regional delivery managers, and site transport and operational teams
- Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations
- Set expectations for transport compliance across the network of delivery points
- Support and guide the site management team in best practice and management of drivers
- Prepare and manage logistics budget
- Support the resolution any issues or delays in delivery
- Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes
Profile
A successful National Delivery Operations Manager should have:
- Proven experience in managing logistics at a national level
- International CPC
- Experience with HIAB, Moffetts and Cranes is advantageous
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a large team
- Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in logistics
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
