Job Title: Stores Operative
Location: Wednesbury Area
Salary: £13 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Engineering Stores Operative to join our team in the Wednesbury area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Mechanical Parts Ordering and Stock Control: Ensure all mechanical parts are ordered and stock levels are maintained.
- Goods Inwards and Outwards: Manage the receipt and dispatch of goods efficiently.
- Supplier Contact: Maintain regular communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
- Computerised Stock System: Perform data entry and manage the computerised stock system to keep accurate records.
- General Stores Duties: Assist with other general duties within the stores as required.
Qualifications/Training:
- Warehouse Operative Skills: Proven experience in warehouse operations.
- FLT Licence: Preferred but not essential.
- Experience: Previous experience working within an engineering stores role is highly desirable.
