Job Role: Powder Coater/Wet Sprayer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: 16.63 - 19.75 per hour (depending on experience)
Metalis are currently working with a UK leading manufacturer, who are looking for a Powder Coater/Wet Sprayer to join their team. This will be a progression role that will grow into a Section Lead position.
Job Duties:
- Prepare, coating and finish a variety of components
- Lead and coordinate work through the spray & powder coating section to meet production targets
- Mix and apply coatings
- Operate and maintain spray equipment, booths and ovens
- Carry out quality checks
- Clean, masking, shotblast and prime prior to coating
- Adhere to Health & Safety at all times
- Work independently and as part of a team
Job Requirements:
- 5 - 7 years' experience in powder coating & wet spraying
- Leadership experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of coating preparation, application and curing processes
- Able to read and work from technical drawings
- High attention to detail
Salary & Shift:
- 16.63 - 19.75 per hour (depending on experience)
- Monday to Thursday, 7am - 4:45pm
