About the Role:
I am working with one of my clients, a leading engineering and planning consultancy, who are looking for an Associate Planner to join their dynamic Town Planning Team. As one of the UK's leading planning consultancies, they are at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure and development, with a focus on Net Zero, ESG, and Biodiversity Net Gain. You'll work on a wide range of exciting projects, including rail, energy, water, and housing, for major clients such as Network Rail, HS2, National Highways, Yorkshire Water, and Homes England.

In this role, you will support the planning and delivery of high-profile projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the growth of our presence in key sectors like renewables and energy transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
路Lead planning activities on large infrastructure projects.
路Manage planning applications and regulatory submissions.
路Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including transport, energy, and engineering experts.
路Engage with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
路Contribute to the delivery of sustainable development projects, such as Net Zero and Biodiversity Net Gain.

Key Requirements:
路Degree in Town Planning or related field.
路RTPI membership.
路Minimum 6 years' experience in planning, ideally with infrastructure projects.
路Knowledge of UK planning legislation and sustainability practices.
路Strong communication and project management skills.
