Senior Town Planner
Location: Birmingham

The Role:
As a Senior Town Planner, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client projects across the region and beyond. You will lead on planning applications, provide strategic advice, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to site appraisals and business development activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing complex planning applications

  • Supporting or leading on site promotion through Local Plans

  • Engaging with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders

  • Contributing to business development and client relationship building

  • Mentoring junior planners where appropriate

About You:

  • MRTPI qualified or working towards chartered status

  • Strong understanding of the UK planning system

  • Relevant experience in consultancy, local authority, or developer environment

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills

  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
