- Solid experience in commercial property—this may have been gained during training or post-qualification
- An interest in or exposure to the public sector (though this isn’t a requirement)
- A strong academic record and grounding in real estate law
- A collaborative and confident approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, pragmatic legal solutions
- A genuine interest in the role law can play in shaping local communities
