Senior Associate – Employment SolicitorLocation: Stratford-upon-Avon or Birmingham (Hybrid Working)PQE: 5+ yearsA well-established and progressive regional law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Employment Solicitor to help drive the next stage of growth within its Employment team. With a strong base in both Stratford-upon-Avon and Birmingham, this is a standout opportunity for an experienced and strategically-minded employment lawyer looking to play a key role in a high-performing but close-knit team. This is a firm where senior lawyers are trusted to lead, shape client relationships, and influence the future of the practice. With the team enjoying its busiest ever period – and an impressive pipeline of high-quality, employer-side advisory work – this appointment comes at a pivotal time. The Role
  • Broad, predominantly non-contentious advisory workload, with a strong emphasis on preventative strategies and long-term client relationships
  • Around 75% of matters are employer-side, with the remainder focused on senior-level employee advisory
  • Tribunal matters are rare, usually resolved early – the emphasis is on strategic, solutions-driven support
  • You'll work closely with the Head of Employment and existing Associate, offering both senior input and leadership within the team

  • Hybrid working: typically 3 days in the office, 2 days from home, with Mondays being the team’s regular Stratford day

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, with 5+ years’ PQE in employment law

  • Confident in managing and mentoring junior team members
  • Proven ability – or appetite – to contribute to business development and grow the team’s market presence
