People Solutions are delighted to be supporting our client in sourcing the next generation of quality engineering talent. This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to begin their career with a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support senior engineers on live projects from concept through to production

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of products and systems

  • Analyse data, interpret technical drawings, and produce detailed reports

  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to support engineering objectives

  • Maintain and improve engineering documentation and quality standards

Essential Skills:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • A proactive and positive approach to learning and development

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar)

  • Exposure to manufacturing or engineering environments (placements, internships etc.)

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
