People Solutions are delighted to be supporting our client in sourcing the next generation of quality engineering talent. This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to begin their career with a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:

Support senior engineers on live projects from concept through to production

Assist in the design, development, and testing of products and systems

Analyse data, interpret technical drawings, and produce detailed reports

Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to support engineering objectives

Maintain and improve engineering documentation and quality standards
Essential Skills:
-
Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline
-
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
-
Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

A proactive and positive approach to learning and development
Desirable Skills:
-
Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar)
-
Exposure to manufacturing or engineering environments (placements, internships etc.)

Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
