An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Transport and Warehouse Manager to join this growing SME based in Birmingham, The West Midlands.
THE ROLE
It will be the primarary function of The Transport and Warehouse Manager to look after the complete logistics function which includes a small fleet of vehicles and drivers as well as the internal warehouse function based in Coleshill.
Responsibilities Include:
- Management of Logistics function
- Lead and develop warehouse personnel and drivers
- Ensure planning systems are in order
- Deliver improvement projects
- Management of in house group systems
- Grow the function
THE PERSON
In order to succeed in the role of Transport and Warehouse Manager you will need experience of operating as a supervisor or manager within a b2b logistics operation. Ideally you will be motivated by leading and developing ateam and have some experience of running projects from a planning, systems or improvement capacity.
