Location: Wednesbury, West Midlands
Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours), Temporary Ongoing Contract
Salary: 12.50 - 13.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse / Storesperson to join our team on a temporary ongoing basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring goods are handled efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods, ensuring accuracy against relevant paperwork
- Operate within the internal SAP system and use Outlook for communication
- Store and rotate stock appropriately; conduct regular stock counts
- Report any missing or damaged goods to the warehouse manager
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to Health & Safety procedures
- Handle Goods In / Goods Out processes
- Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) to manoeuvre items
- Drive company van to various locations when required
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Must hold a valid FLT licence and Driving Licence
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Ability to follow Health & Safety guidelines and company processes
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information:
- Ability to commute/relocate: Must be able to reliably commute to Wednesbury or plan to relocate before starting work
- Licence/Certification (preferred):
- Driving Licence
- CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme)
