We are seeking an adept Maintenance Engineer, who will be responsible for the regular upkeep and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment. This role is based in Coleshill and plays a pivotal role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our organisation.

Description

Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment.
Coordinate work functions with engineering and manufacturing departments.
Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
Perform safety audits and improve production processes to guarantee compliance with safety standards.
Document type and cost of maintenance or repair work.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

A relevant qualification in engineering or a related field.
Worked in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
